Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Concord, ON- Hybrid 3 days in office 2 days from home
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 am -5:00 pm or 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (client has flexibility)
Salary: Up to 68K (10% of base salary paid out annually)

Job Purpose:
Manage all aspects of Digital communication platforms of the Organization.

The primary result expected from the Digital Communications Specialist is to Manage and maintain content on all owned website properties and engage with web, multimedia, or art design vendors.

Responsibilities
Typical tasks for this position include (but not limited to) the following:
- Manage and maintain content on all owned website properties
- Engage with web, multimedia, or art design vendors to assist with creation of content that conforms to brand and company visual standards.
- Collect, analyze and report website and social media traffic data monthly.
- Identify and report on online marketing initiatives such as paid ad placement, affiliate programs, sponsorship programs, email promotions, and viral marketing campaigns.
- Optimize content reach by analyzing search engine patterns to determine organic content placement. Collaborate with other marketing staff to integrate and complement marketing strategies across multiple sales channels.
- Communicate and collaborate with merchants, webmasters, bloggers, or online editors to develop co-branded content designed to drive sales.
- Conduct market research to identify electronic commerce trends, market opportunities, or competitor performance.
- Oversee and manage Spokesperson/Influencer relationships including, budgeting, contract negotiations, reporting.
- Coordinate sales or other promotional strategies with marketing, sales and operations, to ensure online product information is current and accurate.
- Report on PPC campaigns by working with an external media agency to provide detailed reports on a monthly basis.
- Execute digital media strategies, i.e. Social Media campaigns, online ad placement.
- Support, grow and retain online audiences through social media platforms, blogger engagement and customer questions.
- Develop and manage B2B and B2C e-newsletters for multiple business platforms.
- Engage with customers by participating in offsite work events.
- Coordinate customer art requests with Creative Services team.
Skills Required
- Familiarity with SEO/SEM campaigns required.
- A working knowledge of DIY and professional end-user product requirements and buying patterns is a plus.

- Team player with strong personal management skills (i.e., work well with others, effectively manage stressful situations).
- Excellent written, oral, and organization skills. Comfortable speaking in public about our products at events.

- Comfortable or willing to learn how to apply paint including spray paint and stain; not afraid to get a little dirty.
Experience Requirements
- 2-5 years’ experience in a Marketing related position.
- Proven background in social media and experience with social media management tools (sprinklr, hootsuite or similar) and techniques is an absolute must.
- Experience with graphic and video editing software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier) or equivalent.
- Experience with Google Analytics.
- CMS experience (WordPress, Drupal, Sharepoint) required. Sitecore experience preferred.
Education Requirements
- College or University related to, Marketing or related field preferred.
