Location: TORONTO  Don Mills Rd. & Overlea Blvd.  (100% on site)

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm (40 hrs./wk.)

Salary:  Up to -$50K + up to 22% Target Bonus

Job Overview:

The Customer Service Representative is expected to contribute to effective administration of customer inquiries, sales orders, warranties and product returns in conjunction with ongoing business activities and priorities, while meeting internal and external customer requirements.


  • Receive / take and enter customer orders on SAP promptly.  All orders faxed, phoned in, or e-mailed before 5:00 PM will be entered the same business day.
  • Where products are discontinued or unavailable the Bilingual Customer Care Representative will check with Sales, Product Managers or the Manager of Customer Service and Distribution to determine if an alternative is available.
  • Investigate with the assistance of Customer Credit Services as to the reasons for credit hold status if applicable and assist in resolving the issues ensuring the customer’s order can be shipped without delay.  Where issues are not easily resolvable the Customer Care Representative will contact the customer and inform them why their order is unable to ship that day.
  • When the customer changes his/her mind the Customer Care Representative must issue and follow up a Return Goods Authorization (RGA).  Follow up includes making sure the customer returned it and the credit is issued to the customer.
  • To participate co-operatively as an employee within the company Performance Appraisal Process and Merit Rating System.



  • Fluently bilingual (English/French) – Spoken and Written.
  • High school education (post-secondary an asset).
  • 2-3 years of Customer Service Experience.
  • Order Entry and Order Management experience.
  • Computer Literate with Microsoft Office.  SAP skills an asset.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively on a team, professionalism, courteous, well mannered.
