Description

Our client is a leading manufacturing company with a global presence with over 3000 employees worldwide. They are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative – Bilingual to join their team of skilled professionals in our Customer Service Department. This position reports to the Customer Service Team Manager - Canada.  Customer Service Representatives process and manage orders for specified territories and provide the highest level of customer service support by phone and email.

Responsibilities

  • Order entry and verification of customer orders for accuracy, load weight, pallet count, special considerations, etc.
  • Order management including monitoring and updating of shipping dates and communicating updates/changes to internal and external customers
  • Responding to customer inquiries by phone and email
  • Develop strong customer relationships
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Completion of customer and performance reporting

Skills Required

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in both English and French
  • Strong customer focus and excellent relationship building skills
  • High level of attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy of order entry and reports
  • Ability to problem solve and “think outside the box”
  • Good organization skills
  • Ability to handle a high volume of emails and orders
  • Strong/proven analytical skills

Experience Requirements

  • Practical experience with MS Office, data entry, and detail oriented research
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role with direct experience managing orders and customer relationships

Education Requirements

  • College or University degree/diploma in Business Administration or Operations/Inventory Control/Logistics/Supply Chain preferred
