Our client is a well-established Immigration law firm located in Downtown Toronto. They are in search of a Bilingual, adaptable, detailed and productive individual with excellent written communications skills to add to their team of legal Case Workers.

  • Draft and complete legal documents and applications
  • Submit files to appropriate recipients to be reviewed and processed
  • Follow up on the status of client cases, by email or phone
  • Process requirements for various types of immigrant and non-immigrant visas.
  • Follow up on work in progress reports to understand priorities and actions required
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries by phone and email
  • Send invoice billing instructions
  • Respond to client inquiries, verbally and in writing
  • Provide information on the status of cases to clients and or lawyers
  • Advise Management of client concerns, issues or escalations
  • Record activities and data in client management system·
  • Follow policies and procedures and be available to perform duties as delegated
  • Develop strong working relationships with team members, external partners, clients etc

Skills Required

  • Excellent Bilingual (English/French) written and oral communications skills
  • Adaptable, fast learner, works well in a dynamic fast paced environment
  • Ability to write professional, articulate emails and business letters
  • Excellent drafting skills with speed and accuracy
  • Detail-oriented and work well in a team as well as independently
  • Highly responsive to client needs whether in writing or verbally
  • Highly Tech savvy with strong keyboarding skills
  • Exhibits professional image, conduct and appearance
  • Positive outlook, friendly and interactive with ability to learn from pos/neg experience


  • Experience working with CRM and Client Management systems, a strong asset 
  • Understanding of procedures for immigrant and immigrant Visa, a strong asset


Education Requirements

  • University Degree or related legal, paralegal, immigration experience required
