Description

Our client is a leader in medical products and software solutions that support patient care and help save lives in public and medical facilities around the world. They are a rapidly expanding organisation with offices in Canada and the United States. They are currently looking for a Marketing Specialist to add to their Marketing Team to become the go-to person for their designated product segment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage market engagement medical product segments
  • Develop, implement and manage marketing tools, campaigns and projects for specific product lines
  • Work with related teams to manage and execute defined marketing strategies and programs.
  • Develop and set up tradeshow exhibitor presence and conduct participant engagement activities
  • Contribute to social media content and strategy for designated product line
  • Contribute to and organize eLearning programs and educational seminars for designated product line
  • Conduct market research activities such as surveys and focus groups
  • Collect and refer to competitive product information to refer to when developing marketing plans

Skills Required

  • Ability to communicate fluently (oral/written) in English and French  
  • Outgoing, open-minded, socially interactive personality who can incorporate feedback and ideas from related departments
  • Familiarity with MS Suite, especially Excel and Word, Presentation software, an asset
  • Organized and analytical, with ability to manage projects, influence and negotiate with people
  • Results-oriented with ability to work effectively with various personalities, priorities and objectives

 

Qualifications

Ability to travel to and actively engage in industry events and trade shows

TRAVEL is required for up to 5O% annually for the first year (mostly for tradeshows and events)

Experience Requirements

2-5 years experience in a marketing role, involved with trade shows would be ideal 

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertisement, Business or field, an asset
