Bilingual Sales Representative-REMOTE

FULL TIME, PERMANENT

Location: (100% Remote) – Ottawa & Maritimes

Hours: Mon-Fri – 8:30am-5pm - (40 hours/wk.)

Salary:  Up to $80K + 12% Bonus + Profit Sharing

Company:  Our client is international leader in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.  Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a talented Bilingual Sales Representative to their team of professionals.

Job Summary:

The purpose of the role is to generate sales and drive business growth by establishing and nurturing meaningful business relationships, consisting of both new & existing customer opportunities.  The role serves as a pivotal link between the company and Canadian dental professionals and requires a driven, customer-focused individual with an entrepreneurial spirit.

The successful candidate will be responsible for independently managing a customer base of approximately 700 accounts, effectively interacting both virtually (75%) and in-person (25%).  80% of sales made will be to existing clients and 20% will be dedicated to new business development.  The role requires prospecting and business development skills, as well as the ability to proactively communicate, identify needs, and align appropriate brand messaging.

Ultimately, the role is to expand the company’s market penetration, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive revenue growth through strategic sales efforts with the opportunity for career growth & advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Cycle Management: Managing the entire sales process, including all elements related to customer planning & segmentation, prospecting (cold calling), lead-generation, negotiation & closing. Must be able to quickly analyze customer insights and effectively influence buying & usage recommendations.
  • Relationship Building: Building and maintaining relationships with dental professionals, key decision-makers, industry partners, and other relevant stakeholders via both virtual (video enabled), electronic (email & phone), & in-person touchpoints.
  • Performance Analysis: Leverages data and analysis for tracking sales activities, managing customer data, assessing territory trends, and proactive planning to maximize sales effectiveness. Utilizes outputs to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Virtual Communication: Engages with dental professionals and other key stakeholders through video conferencing, digital CRM, online / virtual presentations to influence behaviour change and drive brand usage & recommendations.
  • Virtual Training & Education: Collaborating with dental professionals through digital platforms to provide product demonstrations, training & educational sessions intended to provide remote support, ensuring that customers are knowledgeable and confident in their use of the company’s brand.
  • Product Knowledge & Consultative Selling: Develops a comprehensive understanding of the products & services being offered, as well as having an ability to implement a strategic customer selling story. Is effectively able to address customer needs and providing brand recommendations.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Works closely with internal teams, such as Marketing, and Customer Service to ensure a seamless sales process and effectively address customer inquiries in a timely manner.

Skills Required

  • Fluently bilingual (English/French) – Spoken and Written.
  • Proficient with technology, including virtual meeting platform, CRM, and MS applications.

Qualifications

  • Ability to travel within territory approximately 25% of time.
  • Must have own vehicle.
  • Overnight travel, as required, for applicable industry & company events (Eg: conferences, sales meetings etc.)

Experience Requirements

  • 3 -5 years of dental / medical or pharma sales experience.
  • Experience in virtual / digital selling.

Education Requirements

  • Post-secondary graduate.
