Bilingual Automotive Mechanical Claims Adjuster - REMOTE
FULL TIME, PERMANENT
Location: (100% Remote) – Canada
Hours: Mon-Fri – Rotating Shifts 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, 11am-7pm and 12pm-8pm - (40 hours/wk.)
Salary: Up to $60K

Job Summary:
The Claims Adjuster is responsible for adjudicating warranty claims by interacting with policyholders, repair garages, dealerships, and Territory Account Managers. This role is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, investigating, and authorizing claims in a manner that is consistent with company values and ensuring that policyholder coverage is interpreted fairly and consistently.
The Claims Adjuster will execute the applicable processes, complete all the required paperwork, and ensure due diligence is performed at every step of the claims process while being mindful of regulatory requirements and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for adjudicating claims while providing excellent customer service experience.
- Provide incoming & outgoing Claims support through phone, and email.
- Analyze claims to determine applicable coverage.
- Maintain professional automotive industry knowledge.
- Keep up to date on all warranty coverage and department policies & procedures.
- Monitor and observe dealership & repair garage performance, documenting all communications.
- Review and investigate received invoices that are inconsistent with authorized amounts.
- Adhere to company policies & procedures, ensuring department standards are met.
Skills Required
- Fluently bilingual (English/French).
- Strong and tactful negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, etc.); general competency with business technology.
Qualifications
- Thorough automotive mechanical knowledge is essential.
Experience Requirements
- 2 Years experience in the Automotive industry in a customer facing role. Experience as an Automotive Service Advisor and/or experience in the aftermarket Automotive industry would be ideal.
Education Requirements
- High School graduate.
